Spark plugs

Plugs are an interval part on a lot of engines and a diagnosis part on a misfire. Gap, reach, and heat range have to match. Coil-on-plug means the coil comes off first.

Do not throw coils because the plugs were due. Do not use a 'universal' plug that needs a different gap.

You can do this

If you can reach them and you torque to spec, yes. Cross-threaded plugs in aluminum heads are an expensive afternoon.

Blow dirt out of the wells before the old plugs come out.
Gap only if the box says to. Many iridium plugs are pre-gapped.
Torque. Anti-seize only if the manufacturer says so.
