EVAP large leak

The vapor-recovery system failed a large-leak test. A loose or cracked gas cap still causes this. A canister is the last box, not the first.

Do not authorize a charcoal canister from the code alone. Click the cap. Then a smoke test with a leak location.

You can do this

The cap is a driveway part. If the light returns after three drive cycles, the shop smoke-tests.

Click the cap until it rattles. Look at the seal — cracked rubber is a $15 part.
Clear the code if your scanner can, or let it go out after a few honest trips.
If it comes back, you want a smoke-test photo, not a canister quote.
