A single loud click with a good battery is often the starter solenoid. Silence can still be a security, a neutral switch, or a fusible link. The counter will ask the engine — some starters hide under the intake.
Do not throw a starter from a dead battery. Measure voltage at the starter while someone cranks.
DIY
Access is ugly on a lot of transverse engines. Voltage at the terminal is the DIY check.

The parts person does not start with a SKU. They start with the engine and whether it is 2WD or 4WD. Answer from the bay ticket when we have it.
