Hammer is not landed cost
The number on the screen is the bid. Buyer fee, internet fee, gate, transport, tax, and title sit on top. Public lanes and dealer lanes are different promises. We do not scrape live lots.
You are watching Copart, IAA, Manheim, a government sale, or a Saturday public auction. The car is cheap until the fee stack. This card is the math and the “as-is” words before you raise a paddle.

Expert notes
Buyer fee · $ or %
A sliding fee on the hammer is normal. It is not tax. Online / proxy bids often add a second fee. Ask for the published schedule. We will not invent Copart’s current table — they change it.
Gate + storage · $ / day
Free days are short. A delayed pickup turns a cheap hammer into a storage bill. Transport that “comes next week” is a storage decision.
Title risk · days
Salvage, flood, and “title absent” are paperwork risk. You can win the car and wait weeks. Price the days and the brand of title, not just the bid.
