Diagnosis is a line. Supplies have a number. Read the ceiling out loud. We do not list you as a bookable bay.

01Written estimate before teardownConcern, diagnosis hours, and a not-to-exceed if they authorize diagnosis only.
02Diagnosis is a line, not a gift into the repairIf they decline the repair, they still pay the agreed diagnosis.
03Measurements on the ticketmm, PSI, degrees. 'Due' is for the MPI sheet's sales column, not the RO.
04Call before extrasA text with the new total. No work past the authorization without a reply.
05Shop supplies disclosed and cappedPercent or flat, printed. Not a surprise on the pickup ticket.
06Old parts offeredCores and hazardous get a photo. Everything else can go in the trunk.
